I was swapping between the magic rod you get at the exam and the carrot.

Update - looks to be tied to swapping weapons rather than haste. Spell damage drops to 1 and standard atk rises after swapping, continues to grow.

I'm lvl 9 and just got rolling in the game, character sheet says my dmg should be 82 - using the carrot. My build maxed surgeon and had 5 points into haste when we really noticed an issue. It is almost as though my base dmg is going up when I kill things while hasted, currently I do a standard...
