I don't think I can get any meaningful screenshot... since it's a clean disappearance of program window when I take that ring. Tried a few more times, -tracking which quest (or no tracking) does not affect -loots still normally saved (on map change?), no matter its from startington or evergrind...

As title. Saw a Slime with ring inside, kill it, and at the very moment you collect the ring, CTD comes. Tried a few times to confirm (didn't notice the ring at first), and found out a few guys with the same issue.
