Just got another run to, and killed, GUN-D4M. Same exact thing happened. Is there some sort of quest I have to complete in arcade before I can go on to the next area?

On floor 8, after killing GUN-D4M, the way forward didn't appear. The map says it's there, but I can't actually move forwards.

As the title says, /taimingreset brings me baack to the start of tai ming, with the statue there, but the way forward open. If I kill the statue, the rift appears, and I can travel through, but then the past is messed up(mostly gray background) and then the game crashes after the cutscene sortof...
