[Gameplay] Frosty Friend/Earth Spike

So I was farming Brawler Bots when I realized that if you knock an enemy into the air with Earth Spike then Frosty Friend de-agros. If it helps, I have a gold charge Frosty Friend and a bronze charge Earth Spike.

It's because the enemies can't be hit in the air so frosty friend loses his target. To avoid this you want to avoid hitting enemies with the center of the attack and try to hit them near the outer ring, less likely for them to get knocked up while doing the same damage.
