I could've sworn Second Wind at max level doesn't give you 5 EP per hit back. So I did a test.
All those timings are frame perfect. Sadly Lightworks doesn't have a timer option, so all of those are manual titles, not an automatic timer. Also, their milliseconds aren't milliseconds, they're out of 60 not 100. So, to convert them into milliseconds, we have to do this:
3.86 seconds:
(0.46 / 60) x 100 = 0.76666666...
which gives us 3.77 seconds
4.05 seconds:
(0.05 / 60) x 100 = 0.0833333...
which gives us 4.08 seconds
1.20 seconds:
(0.20 / 60) x 100 = 0.333333...
which gives us 1.33 seconds
1.33 seconds to regenerate 10 EP, means a rate of natural EP regeneration of:
10 / 1.33 = 7.50 EP/s
Regenerating 25 EP from a silver charge dodging strike takes:
25 / 7.50 = 3.33 seconds
4.08 seconds to reach full EP, when the regenerating itself takes only 3.33 seconds means a wait time of:
4.08 - 3.33 = 0.750 seconds before EP starts to regenerate
3.77 seconds to regenerate 25 EP using second wind, minus the wait time before EP starts to regenerate:
3.77 - 0.750 = 3.02 seconds of average EP regeneration
Find the rate:
25 / 3.02 = 8.29 EP/s
Find the equivalent EP that would be regenerated at this enhanced rate if it took the same amount of time as normal:
8.29 x 3.33 = 27.6 EP
The extra EP regenerated when using second wind:
27.6 - 25 = 2.62 EP
The amount of EP gained per hit:
2.62 / 3 = 0.875 EP
So this isn't entirely accurate, or I'd have a whole number. However, what's for certain is that 0.875 is nowhere near close to 5 EP per hit. Seems I've been mugged off this whole time :/
