I've been playing 2-player coop on lan with my brother, and when he initiates the mimic battle (he's the host), we normally fight the mimic, and when we almost destroy it, he vanishes and i'm alone with a floating mimic.
He managed to kill the elder mimic on his own, then i teleported to the elder mimic's room, but he's fighting the ancient mimic on his own, and he can't kill it without me. There's this hitbox in the middle of the room which i can hit.
Can this be fixed soon? We're stuck in story mode now.
Edit: I managed to get to him in between fights, i reconnected.
Edit 2: Still pretty bugged, i sometimes see the boss' health sometimes i don't.
