Steam achievements not unlocking?

Decided to pick this game up again, but none of my achievements are unlocking after I started a new file. Anyone else experienced anything similar?

Last time I played was in a multiplayer game, but this time I'm just playing solo, not sure if that would make a difference or not.

Hey! The Steam achievements only unlock once and are tied to your Steam account, so starting a new file won't trigger them again if you got them while playing multiplayer!

I'd only unlocked two achievements, Initiate Item Hunter and Coin Collector in my multiplayer playthrough. In current file I just finished the ancient temple in Pumpkin woods, but didn't get the evergrind forest or pumpkin woods achievements. Is there something I need to do in each area before I unlock the achievements?

Oh, I see now! Those are Arcade Mode achievements unlocked by playing that mode!

You can view what achievements belong to Story Mode in-game by looking in your journal
