The game won't start.

When I try to launch the game through Steam, nothing appears on the screen and it shuts down.
I've tried the following methods to fix it, but none of them worked:

- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
- Disabling Steam cloud
- Downgrading the version
- Deleting the "AppData/Roaming/Secrets of Grindea" folder

When I manually navigate to the folder and run the .exe file, I can play the game, but I can't access Steam Workshop or friend features. Even when Steam is running, the game won't start when I run the .exe file from the folder directly.

An unusual phenomenon is that I can run the game by using the "Move this game's content to another folder or drive" feature and moving it to a different drive. However, this only works once, and if I try to run the game again after closing it, it won't start. The drive that I moved the game content to is not valid anymore.

I would appreciate any guidance on how to solve this problem.

Do you have some antivirus running that you could try to temporarily deactivate before running the game? It sounds like it's the "hooking up to Steam" thing that triggers something. Perhaps that something is a false positive process termination!

If it works, just put the game exe in the program's exceptions!
