Unable to reach the true ending after playing multiplayer

If you join someone else's game in multiplayer and follow their progress, you can start the quest from the beginning while maintaining your own progression. This reset my progress, but I ran into a problem.
I tried collecting the catalysts again, but the Mortal Catalyst didn't actually activate. All three were in my inventory, but only two were activated in the final battle, failing to reach the true ending.
This could be because I skipped the Ghost Party quest (although you can skip quests you've already completed).

It does indeed sound like the skipping of the Ghost Party quest bugged somehow. I'll look into it!

To manually fix the issue, you can type the following into the in-game chat. It should activate the flag for you!

/toggleflag _MainStory_EndGame_CatalystOfMortality_B

To sanity check: did you skip the Ghastly Gathering quest, or the Spectral Ball quest? The Spectral Ball quest is the one which gathers over a dozen ghosts to the ball, while the Ghastly Gathering is the one that gives you the key to Captain Bones' cabin.
