[Gameplay] Perfect Guard during Elder Mimic Final attack causes player to vanish

I was fighting the elder mimic on multiplayer with 1 other friend and managed to perfect guard on the final blast wave before the timewarp. My character was nowhere to be seen in the ancient mimic phase after the timewarp. I could still chat, and attacks and spells still created sounds, but there were no visuals, and for all intents and purposes, my character was treated as dead. When my friend died, a game over screen appeared as normal.

Hmm I've had something similar happen when playing with my friend,

During the phase transition my friend was in the bottem right corner and when we moved into the 2nd phase (mightve been third?) his character vanished and we had to reset SoG.
