Disappeared all the characters

I launched the game after the start of participation in the beta v0.610. After running there are two Windows with a message saying that the game died. After that lost all the characters. Please help.

If you can remember all the names of your characters, you should be able to restore their backup files, although you might have lost a bit of progress. A video tutorial on how to do that can be found in the spoiler below. Hope it helps
