I entered the tea house in town (the one with no customers), and went upstairs. After being called a commoner and chastised for my apperance I simply walked off the edge of the building, across the river, and pretty much anywhere I wanted. Enemies could not attack me, just as plants and jars were immune to my swords loving minstrations. This effect ends upon entering/exiting a dwelling. I am not certain if it will pass loading screens yet.
