[Gameplay] Mimic got melted by flamethrower

I was playing multiplayer (2P) and we both attacked Ancient Mimic while it was sleeping. I used Flamethrower, the other player used Shadow Clone. For some reason, when Mimic woke up, it lost half of it's HP. We couldn't achieve such DPS for the rest of battle.

You did burst at the very start. For each enemy on the screen, mimic gets damage reduction.
