[Gameplay] Multiplayer desync issues

Kiara

Green Slime
Hello,

When playing with friends, all guests (everyone except the host) experience periodic desync issues with the host. Here are a few examples:

- An enemy that spawns may be invisible to the guests, but can still attack them.

- Projectiles may not appear (this is easy to reproduce in the Priestess fight at the start of Tai Ming), or may appear far away from where they really are.

- Enemies may get stuck in their death animation and leave artifacts all over the screen that just stack up over time.

- Piercing Dash animation may get stuck for the guest client only, and they have to attack before they are able to move (seems to happen on the last frame of Piercing Dash)

=========

Leaving a party-required area and coming back fixes the problem. Leaving the area on my own (such as walking into a house) and coming back does not fix the problem.

At least one manifestation of the issue seems to occur every few minutes, so it significantly impacts how fun multiplayer is since we're constantly having to leave and reload areas to fix someone's problem.

When loading into someone else's game while they have several enemies and/or projectiles on the screen almost guarantees it happens for the person loading in.

This occurs regardless of which of us hosts, or whether it's 2, 3, or 4-player. The issue doesn't appear to be regular lag. All of us have very solid internet connections and I'm seeing no latency, packet loss, or jitter when it occurs. Furthermore, only particular game objects desync, and any new projectiles, movement, or attack animations seem to work fine.

Here's a screenshot of a bunch of artifacts from Echo of Madness death animations as an example. It's possible that this is actually several bugs, but it appears to be related to how the game is handling network communication in general.

Thanks in advance for looking into this one. We're having a great time playing!

**Edit: to clarify, this is occurring in Stable. Have not tested on Frontline.
