Is there a way to convert a normal save into a custom mode save?

I'm exceptionally attached to my existing saves from before 1.1. One of them in particular has my amazing mansion in it that I don't want to lose by starting from scratch. So I'd like to know if there is some file editing I could do to convert a standard save into a custom mode save.
I don't know if it can be done via entering NG+ because I'm too scared of doing so, as I'm not a fan of infinite gameplay (ironically enough despite the game's emphasis on the constant chase of the carrot) and would like to keep my save the way it is with just a few tweaks from custom mode.

Yes, you can type /setcustom and it should turn your save file into a Custom Game type file!

Re-checked the patch notes. Did find out that the option was added all the way back in August. Truly my bad. I got sidetracked from the game

I've been trying to fiddle with the XP settings to make it possible to reach level 50 as I think it's a perfectly rounded number to "finish" a save on (You get your 15th golden skill on the 50th level), and I realized I couldn't find an option to make enemies scale off my level. I assumed that's how enemies worked in NG+ (still haven't played it, way too attached to my completion), but now I'm not sure if it's the case. May I ask if it is? If so, maybe it could be added to custom mode settings for a smooth XP-to-Challenge scale curve.

Also, I've been wondering if anyone knows whether it's technically possible to get the "Challenge Accepted" achievement in custom mode. I already have the achievement, so this is just out of curiosity.
