Literally Who
Rabby
In this dialog exchange, the bag demands of Luke to hand over the bracelet. Then the Bracelet confirms that without it Luke would be dead. This exchange makes it seem like the bag didn't care about Luke's fate, seeing as he demanded an action that would kill him. Which doesn't make sense because the bag then screams for him to wait as he rips it off. So I always thought to myself every time I'd get to this point in a new playthrough, "Is he stupid, or just bipolar?"
Maybe the intent here was that the bag wasn't aware of how the bracelet works, but I feel like it isn't conveyed well enough at all.
Were it up to me, I'd add just a little bit of dialog from the bag to fix this situation
- After the bracelet says Luke would be dead without her, have the bag interject with something along the lines of "Wait, Dead? Oh no..."
- Then as the dialog between Luke and the bracelet goes on, I'd sneak in something like "DO NOT take that thing off. Just stand down, we can figure this out"
- Only for Luke in his foolhardiness to ignore it and continue the cutscene the same way.
Something like that would at least show proper concern from the bag. Again, not really a suggestion, I get that we're way past that, just something I wanted to share rather badly as I get hung up on it every playthrough.
