Will Gold/Platinum charges be radically different from Bronze/Silver?

By that I mean, will they be truly epic things to cast? Or will they just steadily get more powerful, with no amazing finisher?

Because ideally, I'd like to see a few skills end up like this:

Max Dash: Lunges forward non-stop, until cancelled out of or until an obstacle is hit akin to a boar. Sends a powerful AoE shockwave of damage around the player to enemies.

Max Plant: Becomes a proper ranged and melee turret, instead of a melee turret. Fires rapid pea shooter projectiles at distant enemies, while melee vines lash out at nearby enemies.

Max Berserk: Enemies explode on death, damaging other nearby enemies.

Or are my expectations a little bit too high on this one? :p

I don't think you're that far of from what I want with the chareged spells. Right now I don't feel the pay off for charging a spell for 3-5 sec and then let go as I could have spammed the skill 3 times and done the same amount of dmg with the same amount of energy (kind of since you regen energy after casting your first spell). A fire ball with max mag atk gear, lvl 12 dmg pet and a lvl 39 character is doing around 400-500 dmg without getting charged. If it's charged to gold (the fire ball skill is lvl 14) it does around 1.2-1.3k dmg which is IMO not that much of a pay off and you're very vulnerable while you charge your spells. I feel that the risk is higher than the reward for fully charged spells and to me that is making the charged spells undesirable.

Our intention is that the final charges should be pretty spectacular! Your hopes aren't way off, Own.

Everything charged above silver right now isn't working properly. They won't be balanced and won't have the special effects we intend to give that charge level! That said, I also suspect that the charged spells generally need a buff (except for the toggle skills). As for the fireball, silver charge has a chance of adding a burn effect which does 50 % extra damage over 5 seconds!
