[Crash] Game wont start on steam

When I press play something loads, my monitor turns black, and then I am taken back to my desktop

Have you successfully started the game before?

If so, try to delete config.txt in the "%APPDATA%/Secrets of Grindea" folder! Some graphics cards don't like it when the game starts in full screen. If this should be the case, just use Windowed Fullscreen instead!

to start it in windowed fullsreen mode simply open the config file in "%APPDATA%/Secrets of Grindea" with the editor of your choice and change
"Fullscreen [0 = windowed, 1 = fullscreen, 2 = windowed fullscreen]
0"
to
"Fullscreen [0 = windowed, 1 = fullscreen, 2 = windowed fullscreen]
2"
