[Equippable Item] Staves: The hybrid two hander

I think staves would make sense as a hybrid weapon that is good at zoning. They are used by both wizards and martial specialists.

They would have something like a 60-40 or 50-50 split on ATK and MATK, with a dash of crit thrown in. For example a staff scaled to the power of a Squire's Claymore might look something like this: 20ATK, 20MATK, 5Crit.

Thoughts?

A big 2 handed Staff is really cool in my opinion.
Even though i vote against crit but for elemtal dmg
For example: 10% Chance of Burning enemy for 100% of MATK

Yeah, that could work too. The reason I thought crit was a cool idea is because it works in any build, augments both aspects of a hybrid build, and represents decisive strikes that your expect a wise wizard or martial specialist to pull off. It's also a base stat so it could appear on baseline items and more specialized items could have specialized effects that replace it.

I think crit with high stats might be a little OP
I have a the Laser Sword and 44%crit.
You want to give me a stronger weapon with even more crit. I think this would a little too strong.

Laser sword is a one handed weapon so it is faster. It also is pure ATK so your crits are greater.
