[Gameplay] Adaptable Shield

So i was using the new bubble shield and i found out if you cast right when you're about to be attacked (similar to a perfect guard) it uses the equipped shield instead of just blocking damage.(I think)

So i was messing around and i was correct, i had the mushroom shield equipped.

I don't know what to say.
