i managed to find that at a certain angle Frosty Friend, at least at max level, cannot fight a Bloomo. however after moving away far enough it will follow me and then fight normally, unless it tries to fight from the bottom again. this happens every time without fail. it doesn't seem to have any trouble fighting them from the top or sides. it looks like it is vibrating almost as it tries to walk against the Bloomo and it just gets hit. since it is moving, i don't think a screenshot is sufficient to more than the angle.
