[Gameplay] Inputs Not Registering After Being Trapped by First Floor Plant Boss in Arcade Mode

Frontline Build - happened multiple times in different games with the same host. When the vines root my character in place I can mash and see my character attempt to move, but once my character is freed my character doesnt respond to any inputs, controller or keyboard. Current resolution is to force the game to close, as Start/Esc doesn't register, and rejoin the game.

Interesting tidbit - HUD elements update when pressing keys on the keyboard or controller but character remains frozen in place.

Seems to happens to me too, character get rooted, then get hit and boom, no input will register at all. Hud still change, like Laysics said. If the host quit and you restart a game, your character still won't move until you close the game completly and restart it. The Helloweed do come from hell.
