[Gameplay]Insect Swarm vs Red Slimes in Chicken Challenge

In one of the Chicken Challenges found on F3 & F4 in Arcade mode (Evergrind Fields), there are several red slimes.
These red slimes are already spawned when you enter the room and start chasing chickens once the challenge starts.

I'm having a really hard time making my Inscet Swarm latch on to these blobs.
Insect Swarm usually "bends" a bit to latch on to a slightly missed enemy, but in this room Insect Swarm barely latches on even with a direct hit.

Try using a different skill or just normal attacks? I think it's more of a problem you have to face when using that skill than it is an actual bug. But I might be wrong here. I never use that skill so I don't know.

I feel that this spell does in fact behave differently on "wild" red slimes than it does on these challenge ones.
I doubt that this is by design and would definitely define it as a bug.

I believe that in this movie it's worse than it usually is, but this is still the same bug.
