There's been some issues recently with the game not launching, for a lot of people it seems. However the fix is pretty simple:
For Windows, go into task manager, and find Secrets of Grindea - it's in the background processes for some reason. Simply close it, and re-open. You may have to do this a couple times before it works!

Didn't feel like my issue deserved another post on the forum so I figured I'd come here. I've been experiencing the same issues as Xyzamos and Maroddity, however both fixes suggested here have both failed for me. The Hotfix maybe file got me further than anything as I actually received a "The Game Deaded" error report, as previously I just landed up getting an application hang.
This has been occurring regardless of stable build, or beta builds, it just flat out refuses to load.
The weird thing I would love to mention is the game did load for me before. I was able to start it up the very first time I downloaded it, and then the next load of it....nothing. Now not even full reinstalling will allow it to start up again, and even with removing (well everything that I can find at least.) of the files, it still refuses to do anything else. So I am beyond stuck as all hell with this.
Both dependencies have been installed and reinstalled.

Can you post your PC specs and have you tried reinstalling the game?
Could you also attach one the error logs as txt files?
