This only popped out at me when I was looking at the roof of the tavern in Arcade Mode and was thinking how neat it would look if it had a tavern sign like the Story Mode buildings had their own signs... and noticed the pipes. Now I can't unnotice the pipes.
So there's 14 on top of the blacksmith, which I guess makes sense since since it has a furnace, but 14 pipes seems a little excessive.
But then the school has 5 pipes and no fireplace. Smoke is billowing out of the plushie girl's house, no fireplace. Hat shop 3, no fireplace. Remedi's has two, but he uses a cauldron, sooo...
It only recently occured to me how weird Evergrind's buildings are with all the pipes everywhere. Everywhere in Startington has cool looking chimney, but they all have fireplaces (even if the chimney is nowhere near where the fireplace is in the house). Even Robin's has a cool looking chimney chugging out smoke, despite no fireplace.
Why are there pipes absolutely everywhere?
