I've been playing some arcade, and for the second time I've seen this: if you kill two of the same enemy in quick succession, you can get both of them to drop a card. The effect doesn't stack, but the card animation plays twice, you get the sound twice, and the pop-up twice. Here I got two Mrs. Bee cards, the other time i did it with Rabbys:
