Hmm I can honestly say that I have seen this happen to me one time in around 900 arcade mode runs. Not sure what circumstances it happened under though.

Oh, that bug has been around forever. We love exploiting it in 3P and 4P multi, because that boss has a stupid amount of HP in 3 and 4P. Even with a 4x flamethrower build he takes ages to die.

It's a co-op bug, happens when someone dies while the helloweed boss is rooting I think? Not sure.
