I think you should contact RPS. They usually do articles about Indie-games and I think they would love SoG!

As @MrChocodemon said, please do! If editors at big sites like that get the impression that a lot of people would be interested in reading about SoG, there's probably a bigger chance of it being featured rather than if it's only us developers trying to convince them to write about it

We did actually send the game to them, as well as a bunch of other news sites, YouTubers and bloggers, but a lot of them get a ton of mail every day and might have missed ours, and we don't want to get on anyone's spam list by poking them too often.

In either case, spreading word about the game, either to press or just your friends certainly helps a lot

I don't know if a tweet from a random account that looks like it's never been used (because it hasn't XD created it at some point a couple years ago and never used it) is of any value though, maybe a few people could tweet them?
