In Story Mode, at least. Can't confirm in Arcade Mode... because Snowbuddy is horrible in Arcade past floor 3 or 4.

He's never good. Always horrible. Needs a buff.

Sometimes I think Snowbuddy bugs out on purpose just to get attention.
