Healer Class?

I am relatively new to this game and was wondering whether or not there is some kind of healer build? If so please say which upgrades help for this build.

The closest you're going to get to Healer is Protect and Frosty Friend, with Defense Potions from town.

Protect reduces the damage you would take, FF takes enemy aggro and thereby tanks damage for you.

That's a shame, I was hoping there would be some kinda priest, Mage healer class... ):
