Elite enemy camps?
That seems like a wasted opportunity. C'mon, it's the Halloween Woods. Think halloweeny!
Add in a large maze-like graveyard crawling with every enemy type available in the Halloween Woods, with bushes you can slash / graves you can smash to find staircases leading downwards, or creepy shacks scattered around the graveyard. With teleports disabled due to the spooky influence over the area.
Some lead to monster dens that trap you inside until all have been killed, some maybe have treasure and one has a soul stone in it that when broken releases the Pumpkin King. Killing him and freeing his spirit in Story Mode would be the perfect excuse to lift the 'curse' over Halloween Woods, allowing you to pass to the temple. No?
