How to get past 1st floor of Arcade Mode?

I'm really bad at Arcade Mode... I want to get the cat ears but I don't even know how I can manage to get all those points for it when I can't even beat the first floor. I always die from bees and beehives, or those pesky challenges. Does anyone have any guides or builds that could help?

If you absolutely, positively can't manage to play in Arcade Mode: Put one point into Frosty Friend on the first floor, charge him up. Run around, let him beat stuff up. Put your next point into Cloud Strike, charge it up. It will zap all the bees on floors 2-4. Put your third point into Earth Spike or Insect Swarm to attack from afar.
