I was doing a run through with my friend, and as soon as he had unlocked the power to use the elemental orbs, he booked it to Mt bloom to use the ice bridge to explore the area. We could not do much there however we did activate the stone plate portal there.
latter when we got the quest to explore Mt bloom and Tai ming, the first priority on the quest was to enter Mt bloom. So instead of using the main entrance to enter, we used the stone portal to teleport there.
Now no matter what we did or went, we could not get the game to register that we entered Mt bloom. We had to restart the game and walk through the front entrance in order for the game to pick up on it.
