EDIT: I also like the idea of spears, I'm guessing you guys are planning to make it a long ranged weapon? If you add spears, I will definitely use spears until the end of the game.

Yeah, spears are a really cool idea! I'd love to stab my enemies.
Also I can't decide whether (cross)bows as weapons are a good idea. I'd like to have a bow weapon but I think it'd kind of ruin the game mechanic.

We've already had a discussion about bow/crossbows that you can find over here if you're interested.

I suggested characters having walking animations somewhere once. Game developers all over the place have been using my idea ever since.
